74th Primetime Emmy Awards Odds Live At USA Sportsbook Sites

Entertainment odds for the 74th Primetime Emmy Awards are now live at top USA sportsbook sites.

The 74th Primetime Emmy Awards will be broadcasted live on September 12, 2022. With just over a month until the show, TV fans still have some time to get their wagers in on the most lucrative entertainment betting odds of the season.

Emmys To Go Hostless

The event will be filmed at the Microsoft Theatre in Los Angeles with features from some of the world’s biggest stars. But, while the wheels seem to be well in motion for the big night, the Television Academy has yet to announce a host.

Show producers have reportedly looked far and wide for a comedian that would be willing to take the stage. Now that time is beginning to run thin, it seems that the 74th Primetime Emmy Awards will be the first to air without a host.

The odds are as follows:

Who Will Be The Host Of The 74th Primetime Emmy Awards?

  • No Host -120
  • Kate McKinnon +325
  • Chris Rock +500
  • Jimmy Fallon +1000
  • Kenan Thompson +1100
  • Dwayne Johnson +1800
  • Kelly Clarkson & Snoop Dogg +1800
  • Jane Lynch +1800
  • Amber Ruffin +2200
  • Michael Che & Colin Jost +3000
  • Seth Meyers +3000
  • Pete Davidson +4500

This particular set of USA celebrity betting lines is interesting. The “No Host” option is the favorite to win, which makes sense given the strict timeline.

Even still, the Television Academy has gone to extreme lengths on several occasions to ensure the event has a host. In 2012, Jimmy Fallon hosted the awards show in his pajamas in place of an ill Nick Offerman.

The Television Academy has continually denied the rumors of a hostless awards show. The group released a statement in July that said this:

“Television Academy Chairman Frank Scherma in no way meant to imply that a hostless ceremony is being considered,”

Regardless of whether the Emmys have a host, the evening will look slightly different from previous iterations of the show.

High Quality, High Tensions

This year, it felt like nearly every streaming platform was saturated with incredible, high-budget content. There is a reason for that:

With all of the delays and setbacks of COVID-19, top television studios have been working overtime to publish works that were supposed to be ready nearly two years ago.

Most of the industry’s issues associated with COVID have been mediated, meaning things are finally back on track.

And now that shows like Atlanta, Barry, Euphoria, and Succession have each returned from their lengthy hiatuses, this year’s Emmy competition is looking especially sharp.
