Bet Like An All-Star: NBA Odds For Dunk Contest, 3-Pointers, And Game Lines

A promo for the 2023 NBA All Star Weekend in Salt Lake City Utah on February 17-19

The NBA All-Star Weekend begins tonight in Salt Lake City, Utah. The league has events lined up for the next three days, beginning with tonight’s Celebrity Game and ending with the NBA All-Star Game on Sunday at 8:30 PM.

Long gone are the days when the best of the Eastern Conference compete against the top ballers from the Western Conference. This year’s game features Team Lebron (Lebron James) and Team Giannis (Giannis Antetokounmpo) drafting two squads from a pool of players and leading them into competition.

The rosters of each team will not be known until just before tipoff because the draft occurs right before the game. Despite these unknown quantities in play, the USA’s best NBA betting sites have created All-Star Game lines that are taking action 72 hours before the opening whistle blows.

Before we get into that, here’s the schedule of events leading up to the 72nd NBA All-Star Game.

2023 NBA All-Star Weekend Schedule

Tonight

  • 7:00 PM – Ruffles NBA All-Star Celebrity Game on ESPN
  • 9:00 PM- Jordan Rising Stars on TNT

Saturday

  • 1:00 PM – NBA All-Star Practice Presented by AT&T on NBA TV
  • 4:00 PM – NBA x HBCU Classic Presented by AT&T on NBA TV, TNT, and ESPN2
  • 8:00 PM – State Farm All-Star Saturday Night on TNT
    • Kia Skills Challenge

    • AT&T Slam Dunk Contest

Sunday

  • 3:00 PM – NBA G League Next Up Game on NBA TV
  • 8:30 PM – 2023 NBA All-Star Game on TNT

There’s more than enough to satisfy even the most seasoned pro basketball junkie over the next three days. If you’d like to bet on any NBA All-Star odds, the best online USA sportsbook sites have lines for most scheduled events.

Odds To Win The 2023 NBA All-Star Game

  • Team Giannis +125
  • Team Lebron -155

Lebron is much older than Giannis, but with that age comes experience and more NBA Championships. Perhaps that’s what is giving James the edge over Antetokounmpo because rosters will not be gathered until Sunday at 7:30 PM.

There are odds on the All-Star Draft available, with the first overall choice favored to be Luka Doncic of the Dallas Mavericks.

Player Selected 1st Overall In NBA All-Star Draft

  • Luka Doncic (DAL) +175
  • Kyrie Irving (DAL) +275
  • Joel Embiid (PHI) +425
  • Jayson Tatum (BOS) +600
  • Nikola Jokic (DEN) +650
  • Donovan Mitchell (CLE) +1000
  • Ja Morant (MEM) +1000
  • Anthony Edwards (MIN) +4000
  • Lauri Markkanen (UTA) +4000

Doncic has been on fire lately. On December 27th, he dropped 60 points, 21 rebounds, and 10 assists against the New York Knicks. The Mavs are currently ranked sixth in the Western Conference standings, but the odds for betting on the NBA Playoffs rate them as fourth.

The schedule may be packed, but other than the game, the events that receive the most attention are the Dunk Contest and the 3-Point Contest.

2023 Dunk Contest odds feature all four competitors, with the Philadelphia 76ers’ Mac McClung in the lead.
