New NFL Odds For NFC Wild Card Playoff Spots

NFL Playoff betting odds wild card NFC 2021-22

Now that there are only two more weeks of play remaining in the 2021-22 season, NFL prop bets have been posted at online sportsbooks allowing gamblers to profit by laying some action on the team they believe will earn a wild card spot in this year’s playoffs.

That means any NFC team in the following betting line that secures a seed between 5 and7 in the 2021-22 NFL Playoffs will earn a win.

It must be noted that if an NFL team wins their division and qualifies as a top-four seed, bets on them will lose despite them making the playoffs.

NFL Odds To Win NFC Wild Card Seed

San Francisco 49ers (-350)

Despite dropping a heartbreaker to the Tennessee Titans and possessing a mediocre win-loss record, the San Francisco 49ers are still positioned as the sixth overall seed in the NFC.

The 8-7 49ers will next face the Houston Texans and the Los Angeles Rams. San Francisco is favored by 12.5 over Houston this weekend, but the game with LA has the potential to project the 49ers as an underdog.

Arizona Cardinals (-350)

Kyler Murray and the Arizona Cardinals had the makings of a runaway #1 seed just a few weeks ago, but now they are in a dead heat with the Rams for the NFC West Division.

The current odds for betting on the NFL Playoffs suggest that the Cardinals will win a wild card seed rather than finishing first in their division, but with two weeks left and the Dallas Cowboys and Seattle Seahawks remaining, it won’t be easy for Arizona.

Philadelphia Eagles (-250)

Swooping in for a late-season attempt at postseason contention are the Philadephia Eagles who just laid the wood to the New York Giants last weekend.

The Eagles are favored by an NFL point spread of -3.5 against the Washington Football Team this weekend and will wrap up their season against the Dallas Cowboys in Week 18.

New Orleans Saints (+150)

The Saints are now free-falling after a COVID-19 spread caused them to face the Miami Dolphins without several members of their roster, including starting QB Taysom Hill.

They’ve got two winnable games in front of them against the Carolina Panthers and the Atlanta Falcons. If enough players can return to the lineup, the Saints have got a fighting chance to earn a wild card spot.

Los Angeles Rams (+250)

The LA Rams’ low odds of earning a wild card seed is due to oddsmakers’ believing that they will win the NFC West. However, they’ve got the 49ers in Week 18, and they’ve already lost to them once this year.

Minnesota Vikings (+600)

NFL betting sites were favoring the Minnesota Vikings to make the 2021-22 NFL Playoffs in recent weeks, but their odds have taken a significant dip lately.

The Vikings are a touchdown underdog to the Packers this weekend, and a loss will likely eliminate them from playoff eligibility.

Washington Football Team (+1200)

Washington was recently in the mix of NFC Playoff challengers but their inability to routinely handle mediocre opponents has them on the cusp of missing the postseason after last year’s NFC East title.

As mentioned earlier, the Eagles are a 3.5 point favorite against Washington this weekend, and D.C. will need the win to stay alive.

Atlanta Falcons (+2000)

The Atlanta Falcons are two-TD dogs to the Buffalo Bills this weekend. If those NFL odds pan out, the Falcons can begin preparing for next year which could bring an overhaul of the entire franchise. Stay tuned!
